Shore Angling
Shore angling is a popular sport that is enjoyed by millions. The one great plus of shore angling is that no boat is needed. With shore angling you have freedom of movement and no hassles with unloading and launching a boat. There is something special about shore angling that a boat doesn't offer. Yet a larger pole is needed for shore angling on ocean beaches so you can cast past the breakers and have the pole strength to reel in the bigger fish that the ocean has to offer.
Another wonderful aspect of shore angling is that if you aren't a catch and release shore angler, you get to eat the fish you catch. Pan fried mountain trout in butter and almonds is an all time favourite. Catfish fillets dredged in egg wash then breaded and deep fried are a southern classic. Fish kabobs are a treat that await you if you plan to try your hand at shore angling. Bass baked whole stuffed with lemon slices is truly mouth watering to contemplate. Who doesn't love fish?
